My Best Friend, Bestfriend.

I am really excited about Summerfest this year! The Sunbreeze Festival began a few days ago and because of it, my inventory of fireworks has tripled. Azimuth II is set to begin tomorrow! I hope I can get a Yukata, but if not, my swimsuit+1 shall do. I made a new friend today! His name is Bestfriend! (^o^) He's Dacosta's new, too-cute, conehead Tarutaru mule. We had some fun wandering around Windurst this evening as the fireworks went off over our heads.

Adventures in Tahrongi Canyon

For the first time in forever, I used the "Call for Help" feature. I was having some very bad lag in Tahrongi Canyon while fighting a T Yagudo Persecutor. When it killed my first pet, I threw a second one at it - which appeared to die within literally one second, and my HP had dropped by quite a bit. I was running around on my way to the zone when a very kind Elvaan warrior told me to stop running and Call for Help, so I did. Rhya saved me when I only had 7 HP left!

Anyway, <Congratulations!> to me! I'm now a level 15 Beastmaster, I have the ability <Stay> and I've also learned the <Smash Axe> weaponskill! Here are some screenshots from today's leveling adventure.

It is said that everyone has a twin somewhere in the world. In Vana'diel, I have about 300 of them. As does everyone else. Of all my twins though, I've got to say that Chiraru is my favorite one. She looks like me. We've both worn Seer's gear. And our names are almost alike!



Also notable is that whenever we speak of Faytelan, we usually just refer to him as "Fayt". Then I bumped into Fayt. And he looks just like Fayt..elan! OH! And triplets!

Life as a Beastmaster

How have I not discovered the wonders of FFXI-blogging until now? I've learned quite a few things while browsing through some reads; but most notably: You can stack Mog Locker rentals!!!! How did I not know this?! I believe it is time for me to throw out junk (read: colored drops) out of my Mog Locker and rent it until the end of eternity. Storage is [one of] my biggest problems in this game, and I refuse to make a mule.



Spork found me yesterday! Always a joy to bump into him. Before setting off to level my Beastmaster yesterday, we /paniced and chatted and sat in this Galka's lap. Spork gave me a Teleport-Dem and off I went to reach level 14 in Konschtat Highlands. Things went well. Life as a Beastmaster is rough. I took on some T+ Goblins who almost brought me to my death. But soon, Konschtat wasn't enough for me. I ventured off into Valkurm Dunes with my new Hope Rings...



... and died.

Silly Boys!

As you may know, Dacosta and I spend quite a bit of time together. People keep mentioning the "m" word around him, but it is never a good reaction. Fortunately, I've crossed paths with another Tarutaru who visits the same hairstylist as me. Slugger and I have shared plenty of good memories. He intends to win my heart as a heroic Corsair (but teehee, he's won it already!)

Speaking of marriage -- Darian and Karmilla are getting married soon! On August 4th, to be exact. (^o^)
