I've been trying out the latest event in FFXIV, Firefall Faire—Bombards Ablaze! It's a bit tedious and I am not going to bother trying to get all the swimsuit outfits. The game is seeing some improvements. Takeru and I have been doing levequests together. We don't play so often, but we're still giving it a chance.

I have been on many-wany adventures these past few days! I cannot believe it has not even been one month since our return to Vana'diel. I am still not yet Level 75, but I am getting close! I just turned Level 72 yesterday! (Thanks for the help, Juttin and Mitsukai!)

Dacosta and I really love this Level Sync feature. He has been leveling a Paladin, and with Berthold joining us as Dark Knight, we are the ultimataru trio. We've only been leveling in the past, too! Where, by the way, I befriended the cutest Lycopodium in the world.

These days, we have been extremely busy-wusy!

After Dacosta and I beat Maat, we have mostly been doing campaigns in Jugner Forest [S] and Rolanberry Fields [S] with Berthold and Scrumpy. However, I also helped Dacosta break the latent effectaru on his Tachi of Trials to unlock his final weapon skill; fought Kettenkaefer with him, Berthold, and Erikk; achieved San d'Oria Rank 7 and then beataru missions 7-1 and 7-2 to achieve San d'Oria Rank 8!

Pretty much, I've been in Jugner Forest [S] every time I log in and doing campaigns. I've gotten a ton of EXP, as much as 1900 now. It helps that I did some skilling up with Dacosta, Berthold, and Scrumpy. My staff is over 100 now and I have the weaponskill Starburst (yummy-wummy!). I'm about 30K EXP away from becoming level 70! I'm so excited. This month has also been spent leveling my Phoenix character, Itsumo, with some friends and doing ToAU missions.

But most importantly, Dacosta and I went farming for our testimonies!

I'm not level 70 yet, and I want to be before I fight Maat. I will probably lose, but who knows, maybe I will get lucky-wucky!

I just have to tell you all right now about the awesomeness that is Scrumpy (aka Goatee), who I have played with forever. After a long time of checking the Auction House, and Black Cloak always being out of stock... she gathered the materials and surprised me with a signed Black Cloak from her friend, Nethan. Now I look like a real Black Mage! ^_________^

Cavernous Maw!

I bought the Wings of the Goddess expansion, even though I was trying to resist it. But, I'm glad I bought it because I am now Level 68 Black Mage! All thanks to Campaign in Jugner Forest [S]. Reunited with some TaruTaru friends: Jond and Spork.

Chased a Lucky Mouse and got some amazing goodies for my Mog House.

But here's the shocking news:

I have a character on the Phoenix server now. Meet Itsumo, a tiny TaruTaru from Bastok (gross, I know) but who secretly wants to live in San d'Oria or Windurst instead. On her left, Kichiro (Dacosta's Phoenix character), and Astheria, a friend of ours IRL. We managed to convince some friends to try the game out. :) Astheria is my new suga momma and she hooked it up with Melon Pies.

Dulsie, /fume! She gave me 50 gil - what am I supposed to buy with that? I spit on her.

Kichiro and I went shopping for some spells. I'm trying out Red Mage.

I took one of my friends under my wing since he is playing Black Mage. While grinding our way to level 10, Astheria offered to blow stuff up for us. Good times.

Bhaflau Thickets

Oh goodness. I feel like a level 67 noob! It's been more than a year since I've seriously played this game and I feel like I have forgotten everything! Dacosta and I ran into Bhaflau Thickets to set up macros and get the basic feel for everything again. Nothing serious. And of course, my inventory is never complete without a stack of fireworks. ^o^

Silly-willy me, always coming and going! Dacosta and I came returned to Vana'diel a year ago for only one month, and all I did was mine and teleport all day long. But a year later, I am (kind of) back. If FFXIAH.com is accurate, I should still have some money and I've heard everything is very-wery cheap now. I still have another semester ahead of me, and it is my busiest yet, so I can't say I will be playing a lot (if at all, really!), but look out Cait Sith because Charirii is back!

Guess Who's Back?

Though, this is only for a little while. Dacosta was kind enough to buy a month for me, as I've missed my little Tarutaru! We may make a longer return in the summertime, when we are not busy with school.

I've been farming Goobbues in Rolanberry with Dacosta to make some money. Neither of us thought we'd return to the game, so we pretty much gave away our stuff to friends and sold the rest of it. Though, the economy has changed a lot since we left in September! Things seem more affordable now. Farming didn't go so well in Rolanberry, so we moved away from that. I ran around as White Mage for a while, doing teleports and raising lower levels. Teleporting is still good money. ^_^

Bizarre Bazaar

I'm sad to say that I am taking a break from Final Fantasy XI -- and possibly a permanent one. My blog may have been shortaru lived, but I've been in Vana'diel for a long time. The firstaru time around, I played for about half a year. I quit when Diamonte & Berthold did, but we all came back around the same time a year ago. We started over, reached levels 60~70, had good times. However, this school semester is really taking a lot of energy & time; and we are notaru having as much fun as we used to. /sigh I will still go over older screenshots and blog aboutaru them here before I forget all the details!

I'll be in Lower Jeuno for the most part for the remainder of September with my Bazaar up. I figure, other people and fellow BLMs will need these things more than me.

Someone had the nerve to buy a staff from me, then ask what it was for, and then! Ask me to buy it back from them! And hold it for them until later! No can do, silly-willy.

Oh my goodness! There are so many things to get into, and I forgotaru to blog about them!

Darian & Karmilla's Wedding

First things first, Darian & Karmilla's wedding was very-wery beautiful! I made a video covering the wedding (Windurst Waters, Rhinostery) and the reception (Aht Urghan Whitegate, Kokba Hostel) which you can watch here. We enjoyed all the cake and drinks and fireworks! We took a very-wery funny group picture of everyone dressed as Tarutarus. <Congratulations!> to the both of you, and thank you so much for inviting me and Dacosta.

Life as a Beastmaster

My BST is still only level 15. I am having quite a bit of trouble getting past it. I joined a party that conisted of three Beastmasters in Valkurm Dunes. I was the lowest level, yet I had the highest amount of CHR. Still, my Charms wore off so quickly. They told me to charm only Decent Challenge or Even Match, but everything Was Tough, High Defense! I did some solo fighting in La Thiene Plateau, which was very-wery slow exp. I probably only made no more than 1k, but I died a total of twice that day, and I think I lost every bit of exp I earned. ;_;

High Level Territory

It feels absolutely greataru being a high level! Dacosta and I have decided to static party our way to level 75. We exp'ed in Bhaflau Thickets on Marids and Chigoes for the first time; what an experience that was! We were reaching chain #5 in one fight because of all the Chigoes that kept popping. I am officially changing my name to Chigoririi; I feel so powerful, they die instantly when I cast on them. I really liked all experience points we were earning off them..

I have never-ever gotten such a large chunk of exp at once before! These Marids are funny creatures, losing tusks in the middle of their battles. Silly-willy elephants!

I ended the night doing some Assault missions with Berthold and Dacosta. I'm hoping to spend my points on something worth good gil so I can finally purchase myself an Elemental Torque! *_*

Oh! Another worthy mention is that I've joined a CoP Static for Tuesday nights (alternate nightaru on Monday); how exciting! I have been looking forward to doing a line of missions and things. I've only done Promyvion-Dem so there is still Holla and Mea to do. I'm grouping up with Dacosta, Berthold, Darian, Karmilla, and Ooke. ^-^ Looking forward to Tuesday nightarus!

Azimuth Circle II!

Azimuth Circle II has begun! Dacosta and I did not waste any time on getting our hands on some yukatas. I think I look quite cute, yes? The best part about them is that they dispense fireworks! Fireworks!!! My greatest weakness! Many good things are happening. I am very-wery happy and enjoying the Sunbreeze Festival. Darian and Karmilla are getting married tomorrow night! Oh the excitement! They are holding their reception at the Kokba Hostel at 8:00p.

I am really excited about Summerfest this year! The Sunbreeze Festival began a few days ago and because of it, my inventory of fireworks has tripled. Azimuth II is set to begin tomorrow! I hope I can get a Yukata, but if not, my swimsuit+1 shall do. I made a new friend today! His name is Bestfriend! (^o^) He's Dacosta's new, too-cute, conehead Tarutaru mule. We had some fun wandering around Windurst this evening as the fireworks went off over our heads.

Adventures in Tahrongi Canyon

For the first time in forever, I used the "Call for Help" feature. I was having some very bad lag in Tahrongi Canyon while fighting a T Yagudo Persecutor. When it killed my first pet, I threw a second one at it - which appeared to die within literally one second, and my HP had dropped by quite a bit. I was running around on my way to the zone when a very kind Elvaan warrior told me to stop running and Call for Help, so I did. Rhya saved me when I only had 7 HP left!

Anyway, <Congratulations!> to me! I'm now a level 15 Beastmaster, I have the ability <Stay> and I've also learned the <Smash Axe> weaponskill! Here are some screenshots from today's leveling adventure.

It is said that everyone has a twin somewhere in the world. In Vana'diel, I have about 300 of them. As does everyone else. Of all my twins though, I've got to say that Chiraru is my favorite one. She looks like me. We've both worn Seer's gear. And our names are almost alike!

Also notable is that whenever we speak of Faytelan, we usually just refer to him as "Fayt". Then I bumped into Fayt. And he looks just like Fayt..elan! OH! And triplets!

Life as a Beastmaster

How have I not discovered the wonders of FFXI-blogging until now? I've learned quite a few things while browsing through some reads; but most notably: You can stack Mog Locker rentals!!!! How did I not know this?! I believe it is time for me to throw out junk (read: colored drops) out of my Mog Locker and rent it until the end of eternity. Storage is [one of] my biggest problems in this game, and I refuse to make a mule.

Spork found me yesterday! Always a joy to bump into him. Before setting off to level my Beastmaster yesterday, we /paniced and chatted and sat in this Galka's lap. Spork gave me a Teleport-Dem and off I went to reach level 14 in Konschtat Highlands. Things went well. Life as a Beastmaster is rough. I took on some T+ Goblins who almost brought me to my death. But soon, Konschtat wasn't enough for me. I ventured off into Valkurm Dunes with my new Hope Rings...

... and died.

Silly Boys!

As you may know, Dacosta and I spend quite a bit of time together. People keep mentioning the "m" word around him, but it is never a good reaction. Fortunately, I've crossed paths with another Tarutaru who visits the same hairstylist as me. Slugger and I have shared plenty of good memories. He intends to win my heart as a heroic Corsair (but teehee, he's won it already!)

Speaking of marriage -- Darian and Karmilla are getting married soon! On August 4th, to be exact. (^o^)
